Supporting grandparents who care for HIV and AIDS orphans
When an older person has the responsibility for caring
for orphaned grandchildren she/he needs to provide
shelter, food, medicines, clothes and also education
expenses. If in poverty, children often miss out on
education because of the cost of school lunches, uniforms
and shoes and scholastic materials, such as pens and
exercise books.
A $35 donation will enable an orphaned grandchild to attend a public
school for one year.
