Objectives


TAFU's objectives are to:
  1. Promote awareness of older persons in Uganda;
  2. Increase recognition of and support for older persons’ contribution, particularly their care of orphaned grandchildren;
  3. Increase older persons’ independence and financial security;
  4. Strengthen family and community support of older persons;
  5. Increase older persons’ access to health care and home care;
  6. Increase older persons’ participation in community life.
